Community Outreach and Investment Committee

The Community Outreach & Investment Committee is intended to increase focus on investing and engaging with Colorado’s communities. This committee provides a space to share and collaborate on efforts that help enrich investment and influence positive community impacts. Authentic outreach within communities cultivates meaningful connections from our industry leaders to others across Colorado. Serving our communities and building strong relationships are key to ensuring positive engagement and creating open lines of communication. This committee helps to support local causes and provide opportunities for industry to give back and serve their communities through sponsorships, scholarships, volunteerism, and other forms of giving back.

2018 Weld County Fair

Join us for Energy Day at the Weld County Fair on Saturday, July 28th!  To celebrate, we are equipping the community with skills to save a life! Citizen CPR is a 30-minute program developed by the American Red Cross to teach people how to perform Hands-Only CPR. Hands-Only CPR is giving chest compressions without any mouth to mouth contact. Learning this technique helps make our community safer. Each year more than 300,000 people die of sudden cardiac arrest – 30 minutes of your time could save a life!

For nearly a century the Weld County Fair has celebrated the agricultural heritage that is so deeply rooted in our communities. In 2018, the fair will proudly celebrate its Centennial anniversary marking 100 years of a family friendly event that honors agriculture and the talents of our communities.
