DENVER (March 22, 2016) -- Statement from Dan Haley, President and CEO, Colorado Oil & Gas Association on Adams County just passed oil and gas regulations: "After an unreasonably short public comment period, and despite already having perfectly workable oil and gas regulations and an MOU that was drafted from a lengthy stakeholder process, the county has decided to pass a slew of ambiguous and overreaching regulations. Statement of Doug Flanders, Director of Policy and External Affairs, Colorado Oil & Gas Association, on Colorado House State Affairs Committee passage of HB1355, Gives Local Governments Concurrent Authority to Site and Regulate Oil and Gas Facilities

HB1355 overturns decades of established Colorado law and policy that sets bright lines that recognize the unique aspects of oil and gas location, surface and mineral private property r ... House Bill 1310 radically changes Colorado law and legal standards, and we're very disappointed that it passed out of the full House despite opposition from a broad and diverse coalition of business leaders and organizations. This action basically i ... Read More »
