Membership Information


 

The Colorado Oil & Gas Association is a Colorado nonprofit corporation formed to foster and promote the beneficial, efficient, responsible, and environmentally sound development, production, and use of Colorado oil and natural gas. A number of membership levels and types are available to industry companies, as well as non-industry corporations and groups.

Benefits of COGA Membership
Your membership allows COGA to fulfill its mission to foster and promote the beneficial, efficient, responsible, and environmentally sound development, production, and use of Colorado oil and natural gas. With your support, we can engage in the following activities:

  • Promote and advocate on behalf of industry before the Colorado state legislature, state agencies, and local governments
  • Monitor and respond to regulatory and legal developments, including comment letters and agency meetings
  • Develop and enhance outreach programs that engage and mobilize member company employees
  • Build relationships with key state leaders and stakeholders to improve industry visibility and outreach effectiveness
  • Conduct education outreach to all stakeholders across the state with dependable information regarding Colorado’s oil and gas resources

    COGA has numerous committees which follow regulatory, legislative, and legal issues affecting energy producers. The committees track recent events at the state and local level, engage regulators, develop reports, and create recommendations for industry leaders.
     
  • COGA News – Biweekly email updates on industry issues
    COGA works to ensure that our member companies are always up-to-date on the latest issues impacting the industry. COGA News includes key news coverage, charitable and economic development opportunities for members, and information on COGA chapter activities around the state.
     
  • Priority placement when exhibiting at COGA’s annual conference
    The Rocky Mountain Energy Summit Conference is the largest by-industry, for-industry, nonprofit energy conference in the nation, with proceeds reinvested into the industry. As a COGA member, your company will have the opportunity for premium placement in the Energy Summit Expo and discounted member rates, where more than 2000 attendees will have access to your booth.
     
  • Free postings to COGA’s online job board and career networking channels
    The lifeblood of the energy industry is its workers, and hiring the best and brightest allows companies to remain competitive. COGA members gain free postings to our Online Job Board, which provides a gateway to job seekers looking for employment in the energy sector.
