Colorado is currently ranked 6th in domestic oil production and 5th in natural gas production and has just over 53,000 active wells. Colorado has some of the most comprehensive and stringent oil and gas regulations in the country: Every aspect of oil and gas activity is regulated from site selection, permitting, down-hole activities, hydraulic fracturing and disclosure, and final site reclamation.

COGA is your go-to source for education, facts, information, and tools as it relates to current oil and natural gas operations in Colorado.
