About Andrea Wescott PassmanAndrea Wescott Passman joined Caerus in late 2019 as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Caerus, Ms. Passman was the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations, and Executive Officer, for CNX Resources, where she led operations for their Appalachia assets. She also led exploration and evaluation of unconventional plays for CNX’s international subsidiary. Ms. Passman has concentrated her career in optimization and digitization of unconventional resource plays for the last decade, holding management and engineering roles with Halliburton, Schlumberger, and several independents. Ms. Passman was raised in a gold mine in Alaska and still holds that new frontier attitude. She was recruited away from Alaska by the Colorado School of Mines where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering. In addition, she holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Denver. Ms. Passman is a member of the Colorado School of Mines Petroleum Engineering Advisory Board, the Chair of the University of Denver Executive Alumni Leadership Council and is a member of the Food Bank of the Rockies Board and Operations Committee. 2022 Panelist Profile | Q&A with AndreaHave you attended The Energy Summit before? As a guest or panelist? This is my first year. What are you looking forward to at this year’s Energy Summit (aside from your session)? I am looking forward to connecting with my peers and learning from them. What made you decide to join us at this 34th Annual Energy Summit conference to participate on this panel? This is a great opportunity to advance the conversation and move our industry forward. Why do you think your panel topic is critical in the oil and natural gas industry at this time? We have to show the world how our industry is supporting the future and building believers is the backbone for our ability to recruit and retain talent – ESG and DEI remain at the root of our success. How would you recommend that someone stays current on these issues, if they are interested or want to know more? Continue to educate yourself – read and listen to all the points of view! What is your personal favorite story about, or characteristic of the Colorado oil and natural gas community and those who work in it? That the people who work in oil and gas are the same people who love this state, live here and play here – me included. Any great books or binge-worthy shows to recommend?
