COGA Voter Guide

Thank you for taking the time to do your research and find out where candidates stand on oil and natural gas regulation and development in Colorado. The passage of SB 181 increased the importance of local elections for our industry and you deserve to know where your candidates and elected officials stand on supporting your job, as well as one of our economy’s largest industries.
This Voter Guide is to be used as a resource for elected officials and leaders, potential and running candidates, and citizens living in municipalities in Colorado. By requesting candidates to provide their positions on oil and natural gas development as well as specific questions pertaining to current local and state regulations, initiatives, and legislation, we are able to provide a snapshot for elected officials as well as potential candidates who support the responsible development of Colorado's resources and in what ways.

COGA is always working to increase the industry’s visibility by increasing our political leadership. Our most direct way to accomplish this goal is through the Colorado Energy Education Political Action Committee (CEEPAC).

The purpose of CEEPAC is to provide the oil and gas industry a crucial voice in the Colorado political process by educating and providing financial support to candidates for state and local office who support COGA’s public policy values.
